Promotion


Promoting a product can take time and effort, but you have to make sure you choose the right channel for the type of advertisement you created. "The battle of the car producers in the advertising industry is very entertaining for the public, thanks to the intelligent ads created by the creative agencies” ("HyundaiUSA | Better Drives Us." The channel of promotion I will be using is advertorials by way of a magazine or print publications. “Promotions should be geared toward the consumer demographic your market research determined is your best potential customer” (Writer, Leaf Group. I draw great inspiration from Mercedes Benz because they include fashion and style in all their magazine advertisements. I think having different images that can be used for print and web publications will gain a bigger and better understanding of the brand and what they stand for. In my opinion I believe that Hyundai has done a great job over the past years but it’s time to develop something fresh and original for the brand to give it a little more excitement. Since the company is from Seoul South Korea I think incorporating their fashion into the advert will be a great way of showing the diversity of the brand which is only known as a dependable car. “The Asian design hub is growing from underground sensation to globally recognized style leader. The event, in its 12th edition, acts as a window into some of the biggest trends coming out of Asia” (http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/18/fashion/korean-fashion-designer-profiles/). Of course TV is the best channel for promoting a product, if I did do a commercial for Hyundai I would tell it from the photography and fashion perspective. The story would be a group of fashionable friends on their way to Seoul Fashion Week to sit front row at top designer show while being snapped for street style photos getting out of their 2017 Hyundai Sonata Limited. My advertisement can be used for print and TV commercial use. Adding fashion in my print advert will add a fabulous twist to a new style of advertising for the Hyundai brand. Which this new advert comes new promotion tactics; the brand will hold promotional colors, events, exclusive prices, printed/ created promotional materials. “The majority of people love freebies, and creating an event at which you give away products is more likely to draw customers that might not otherwise have been interested” (Writer, Leaf Group.
